Ball Call for Kids

The Guinness World Record™ attempt, by the Testicular Cancer Society, benefiting
the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
On December 9th - 10th, 2011 the Testicular Cancer Society "unofficially set" the Guinness World Record™ for the “Largest Donation of Sports Balls in 24 hours.”
Location: Anderson Center Station at 7832 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati, OH 45230 map
We collected 6264 balls, which made our Guinness World Record™ attempt a success. All the balls were donated to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Over 2800 of the balls were brand new and were able to be given to local kids for Christmas and the used balls were distributed to secondary charities. All of the donated balls found a good home.
Secondary charities included:
- Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation
- Cincinnati Recreation Foundation
- Inner City Youth Opportunities
- Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue
- Youth Baseball Funding via the Reds community Fund
